The Voice for Continuing Care Assistants in Saskatchewan

CANSWA Saskatchewan is the professional association which tirelessly advocates for Continuing Care Assistants.  CANSWA SK works diligently to improve, support and recognize the frontline efforts of Saskatchewan’s CCAs.

  • verify your CCA education, provide you with an enhanced background check and professionally banded ID;

  • provide you with one-Million-dollar professional liability insurance;

  • provide the option to obtain group medical benefits;

  • make available 24/7 support for all your questions and concerns;

  • provide job postings…. and many other benefits

CANSWA SK is one of many chapters of the Canadian Support Workers Association. Created early in 2019, with assistance from the original founders of PSW Canada, now known as the Canadian Support Workers Association. CANSWA was created by Frontline Support Workers for Frontline Support Workers.

Since 2010, CANSWA has grown substantially, now representing tens of thousands of Support Workers across our nation. CANSWA has become the official voice for Support Workers with Media across our nation and Federal & Provincial Governments.

CANSWA SK’s message is plain and simple.

CANSWA SK is currently advocating the Saskatchewan Government for formal recognition of the CCA's.

CANSWA SK’s Mission Statement

To continuously strive to improve the professional status of the Continuing Care Assistant of Saskatchewan through advocacy for excellence and consistency in training, services, working conditions, and value to those we serve.
